IRM Has Become a QFI

IRM is now a VISA Europe Qualified Forensics Investigator (QFI) to compliment IRM's other PCI-related qualifications, PABP (Payment Application Best Practice) and QSA (Qualified Security Assessor).

As a QFI, IRM is now certified to handle an organisation's data in the event of a PCI-related security breach, carry out the investigation into how the credit card data was compromised and guide the organisation through what they must do to ensure PCI compliance going forward.

As IRM has been active in forensics and incident response work for many years on behalf of law enforcement and private organsiations, the company already has the tools and knowledge in place to deal with attacks after the fact including how to handle the compromised equipment, how to preserve the findings in order to trace the attack and also to give subsequent advice on how to prevent attacks in the future.

Now that IRM holds the full spectrum of qualifications in relation to PCI DSS, we are able to help any level merchant as well as vendors wherever their PCI DSS needs fall.
