Job Description

The role will be focused on supporting the Head of Public Sector sales in managing the key frameworks and accounts within the UK Public Sector that has established IRM as a market leader in the provision of Information Assurance services to Central Government and MOD. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, energetic and a creative thinker with the ability to effectively communicate with both IRM’s partners and end clients to achieve their goals. Main responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of Public Sector sales in managing key procurement/supplier frameworks that facilitate IRM’s business with the UK Public Sector including Buying Solutions;
  • Work effectively with and maintain a healthy working relationship with our key prime contractor in the Public Sector;
  • Manage and own the relationship with key systems integrators who act as a sales channel for IRM in the Public Sector;
  • Creatively work all of the above relationships with a focus on driving incremental revenue and business opportunities in all of the channels.

All of the above relationships are already well established by IRM so the role will predominantly focus on strong account management skills with less focus on pure new business acquisition.
